2016 is the right time to ask for increased understanding between loved ones or push for reliable social commitments. For many Geminis a new love interest may present itself in the first few months of this year. Even though family or emotional discussions may intensify between mid-January and late February, planetary aspects indicate that a recent period of restriction in relationships and romantic withdrawal is now coming to an end. All of this will have strong romantic overtones: expect relocation, living arrangements, co-habitation or family planning to be a key concern. If so, expect friends and lovers to be unable to publicly commit to social events or be extremely involved in family or business concerns. Take none of it personally: remain patient and watch for lovers to regain their emotional footing. An important year for relationships: deep emotions and long-term decisions will be a continuing theme for much of the next 12 months. 

You may feel slightly directionless during the first half of the year, and very much at the whim of others.
